And they have the opportunity to enjoy all the culture and fun that Tampa has to offer

Veterans’ Stride Foundation

The Veterans’ Stride Foundation seeks to improve the lives of veterans and people living with amputation by enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the practitioners who serve them. It does this primarily through its work with accredited O&P programs in the areas of research, innovation, education, and collaboration.

The Foundation sponsors adaptive sports events which challenge participants to find new ways to be active. These events give people living with amputation the opportunity to engage in an inclusive environment while improving their physical and mental well-being.

Our goal is to build an Adaptive Sports Center which will provide people living with amputation the opportunity to participate in adaptive sports on a regular basis.  The adaptive sports center will have a multi-purpose gym floor,  a climbing wall, a golf simulator, batting cages, accessible locker rooms with showers and saunas, a workout space, flexible training areas, exam rooms, and an auditorium. Please consider donating to the foundation to support this project.

Continuing Education

IIOP offers continuing education courses to O&P practitioners, including state-mandated courses. We will soon be adding pre-certification preparation courses which will help certification candidates gain confidence for their certification examination.
