This past week at the IIOP has been both fun and educational. Some of our students had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Warrior Games in Orlando, FL, working alongside our nation’s heroes. It was a truly inspiring experience and helped us gain insight into adaptive sports.
We also had the pleasure of hosting Ossur, who provided an informative session on their advanced prosthetic knees. In our coursework, we wrapped up prosthetic management of the lower limb by fitting our second transfemoral sockets.
Looking ahead, we are excited to dive into upper limb and fabricating our first transradial prosthesis.
