FULL-TIME FACULTY

The International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics seeks a full-time faculty member with strong knowledge and experience in both, the orthotic and prosthetic disciplines.  We seek a candidate who will have the primary role of delivering instruction within the classroom and laboratory setting.  The candidate will additionally share roles with other employees during future projects, as they become available.  Such projects are expected to include community outreach programs/workshops, orthotic and prosthetic research studies (both in house and with participating collaborative entities), foreign development of better O&P practices, etc.  Applicants must have a sincere commitment to teaching and be willing to engaging in substantive interdisciplinary collaboration regarding education and research.  Applicants must be eligible for Florida licensure in both the Orthotic and Prosthetic disciplines as well as hold a Master’s degree or higher in a healthcare or education related field.  The International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics is in Tampa, Florida, which houses lush parks and green spaces, competitive schools and numerous amenities for entertainment, sports and recreation.  For consideration, the application material must include a full academic CV as well as a personal narrative on teaching and research.  All application materials need be emailed to arlene@iiofoandp.org The International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)

We are currently seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to provide care to our orthopedic patients with disabling conditions of limbs and spine, under the direction of and consultation with physicians, by designing and fitting orthopedic devices.

Applicant must have advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and orthotics; a strong sense to precision and attention to detail; the ability to effectively communicate and work with physicians and other health care professionals; and the ability to work as a team member to improve the quality of patient care.

Bachelor’s degree or higher-level postgraduate degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from an accredited college or university; proof of completion of an NCOPE approved Residency Program; Board certification through the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics; and a valid Florida license or eligible.

Prosthetic Residencies (West Coast)

Pacific Medical is looking for board-eligible orthotists to fulfill their prosthetic residencies. Pacific Medical is a medium-sized practice with 27 patient care facilities serving the West Coast, from Santa Barbara, CA to Anchorage, AK. We have several residency openings available and we wanted to reach out to students looking for a second residency. We are looking for board eligible orthotists to put down roots on the West Coast.
